Results from the 2010 Junior World Championships and Youth Olympic Qualifier
Congratulations to Jeffrey Trieu (Men's under 68kg), Elodie Beaulieu (Women's under 46kg) and Shashank Bhat (Men's under 63kg) for winning Bronze at the 2010 Junior World Championships.
Congratulations also to Stefan Bozalo (Men's over 73kg) and Melanie Phan (Women's under 49kg) who qualified for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

2010 Junior World Championships and Youth Olympic Qualifier
Please join us in wishing all of the athletes, coaches and officials the best of luck as they depart for the 2010 Junior World Championships and Youth Olympic Qualifier in Mexico next week to represent Canada! These young athletes lead and inspire Canada's Taekwondo family as they carry our best wishes when they compete against the world's best.
Our High Performance Director (Team) has selected the following officials who are being fully funded by the OTP:
Team Leader (Head of Team) : Mr. Gerard Lauziere
Team Manager : Master Woo Yong Jung
Coach: Mr. Raymond Mourad
Coach: Ms. Jamie Dossantos
Coach: Mr. Shin Lim
Coach: Master In Kyung Kim
Female Feather: Melanie Phan
Male Light: Nicolas Pereira
Taekwondo Canada is greatly appreciative of this financial support.
As well, Taekwondo Canada is pleased to announce that the following individuals have agreed to go, at their own expense, to coach/assist 7 athletes who are attending:
Coach: GM Young Su Choung (Ontario)
Coach: Master Chris Chong (BC)
Trainer: Master Cha Joo Han (AB)
The remaining 18 athletes attending, who are being supported by their families/Provincial TKD Associations (ON/AB/NB/NL) and Taekwondo Canada are:
We at Taekwondo Canada are grateful that such high caliber coaches, with previous proven success on the podium at the international level, have come forward at their own expense to lend their expertise to the development of Canada’s future Olympians.
This event is truly a national partnership where Canada's Taekwondo Family and Partners have come together for the benefit of our athletes!!!!!
