Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation Signed
President FitzGerald, while in Korea with Grandmaster Oh Jang Yoon, VP Sport and Grandmaster Jay Park, VP Martial Arts signs Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation between Sung Hwa University, the Jennonam Taekwondo Association of Korea and the Taekwondo Association of Canada.
The Sung Hwa University Association of Korea and Taekwondo Canada signed an agreement for mutual development and prosperity in accordance with their agreement of friendship and cooperation as outlined below:
1. With the goal of promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the two associations we have decided to share Taekwondo and various other exchanges.
2. The two associations have decided to exchange information related to Taekwondo at regular intervals or occasionally.
3. The associations have decided to exchange the Athletes and personnel concerned with Taekwondo in order to develop mutual understanding and cooperation.
4. The associations have liaison offices in their own associations and maintain continuous growth of a friendly relationship.
President FitzGerald states building professional
relationships, such as this with Korea, will
contribute greatly to the continued advancement of
Taekwondo in Canada.
President FitzGerald reports he is honoured to have
met and be affiliated with President Lee Haeng Ki,
President of Sung Hwa University and with
Grandmaster Yoong Gi Jo, President of Jeonnam
Taekwondo Association and Vice President of the
Korean Taekwondo Association.
