Taekwondo Canada Launches National Membership Registry Program

Taekwondo Canada is pleased to announce that it has launched the Association’s first online National Membership Registry Program.

With the support of Sport Canada and as part of the Federal/Provincial/Territorial membership initiative launched in March 2011, Taekwondo Canada has partnered with SportingDNA Canada to create a web-based membership management solution for all member organizations of Taekwondo Canada.

The national database positions Taekwondo Canada as a Canadian sport industry leader in member management and will unify the entire Canadian taekwondo community by streamlining membership registration, data management and communication from the local club to the national organization.

“The sport and recreation market in Canada is extremely competitive now.  All sports are vying to both retain and attract new participants.  In order for taekwondo to remain competitive in this market, a National membership program will provide the means to effectively organize taekwondo in Canada, acquire critical demographic information for the sport and martial art across all categories of participation, and ensure strategic decision-making by Taekwondo Canada and its member organizations around new and existing initiatives, programs, services, and the allocation of resources to grow and improve Canadian taekwondo for the future.”

Membership with Taekwondo Canada is open annually between September 1 and August 31 to national and provincial/territorial organizations, black belts, colour belts, clubs and schools from coast-to-coast.
